The gameplay loop is brutally simple but ridiculously addictive. You are literally just tapping the screen to keep the ball in the air. As you finally lock into the rhythm, you start unlocking totally insane football tricks. One second you’re just nervously bouncing it off your foot, and the next you’re stalling the ball right on your forehead like a total pro. It’s entirely about building muscle memory. You will drop the ball constantly at first. But the more you grind, the better your timing gets.

You definitely don’t have to look like a generic rookie while you’re breaking juggling records. The game is absolutely packed with ridiculous customization options. We are talking over a hundred different football kits. Want to rep Barcelona or Madrid? They are in the vault. Want to totally flex on everyone by executing perfect foot stalls in a completely tailored, three piece suit? You can absolutely do that.

THE PASS THE PHONE SYNDROME

The graphics are vibrant, and the animations are buttery smooth. That fluidity actually makes a huge difference when you’re trying to perfectly time your next tap. But consider yourself warned right now. This is exactly the kind of game that causes serious frustration and jealousy. You’ll be sitting on the couch totally locked in, crushing your high score, and someone is inevitably going to lean over and say, “Let me try that.” Don’t hand over your phone. They will instantly ruin your streak.
