If your kids or let’s be honest, you are completely hooked on endless runners, this PJ Masks game is going to eat up a ton of your screen time. It takes that classic, wildly addictive lane running formula and throws your favorite nighttime heroes right into a high speed chase against familiar villains. You absolutely do not need to sit through a tedious tutorial to figure this out. The layout is ridiculously stripped down and intuitive. Your right thumb handles all the dodging and swerving, while your left thumb rests perfectly over the special ability trigger. You just jump in and start sprinting.
UNLEASHING CRAZY HERO ABILITIES
You get to lock in your favorite squad member right out of the gate, choosing between Catboy, Owlette, or Gekko. They aren’t just generic character models, either. As you sprint through the chaotic streets, you have to aggressively hoard floating energy cells. Max out that glowing meter, and you get to trigger some seriously overpowered abilities. Catboy kicks into absolute overdrive with blistering super speed. Owlette taps into her piercing owl vision to spot massive crystal stashes you would normally blow right past. Gekko straight up activates his camouflage, turning completely invisible to phase through absolute disaster.
GRINDING THROUGH ESCALATING MAYHEM
Running aimlessly gets boring incredibly fast. The developers totally understood that, packing the game with a massive 35 level gauntlet. The difficulty curve gets surprisingly sweaty the deeper you push into the campaign. You can’t just sleepwalk through the later stages. You have to actively sharpen your reflexes, figure out exactly when to pop those special abilities, and constantly adapt to survive the escalating track hazards. It keeps the whole sprint feeling incredibly fresh and highly rewarding.
