Snowboard Party is officially back, and this sequel goes incredibly hard. It packs all the high speed adrenaline you’d expect, minus the frostbite.

RACE THE CLOCK OR CHASE THE AIR

Whether you just want to bomb down a mountain or spend hours perfecting a ridiculous 1080 spin, the game has you covered. It splits the action across 21 unique global locations into four completely different disciplines:

• Time Attack: This brand new mode is incredibly sweaty. You have to weave through flags and hit tricks just to keep your speed up. Miss a checkpoint, and your score absolutely tanks.

• Freestyle: If you are all about style, this drops you into parks completely loaded with rails, boxes, logs, and natural hazards to grind.

• Big Air: Defy gravity. It is just you, insane speed, and massive ramps the size of a multi story building.

• Halfpipe: The classic vert experience. Chaining together back to back trick sequences in the pipe is insanely addictive once you lock down the rhythm.

DRESS LIKE A WEIRDO, RIDE LIKE A PRO

You get 16 different snowboarders to choose from, but keeping them looking like normal winter athletes is completely optional. You can unlock over 80 wild outfits. We are talking full blown alien suits, zombie skins, and pirate gear. There’s even a hilarious secret “big head” mode hiding in the game if you can figure out how to unlock it.

Your gear actually matters, too. With 50 different boards packing totally unique specs, you have to find a setup that actually complements how you play. Upgrading your deck and leveling up your rider’s base stats is crucial if you want to clear the 250+ level objectives scattered throughout the campaign.

TOTAL CONTROL AND KILLER SOUNDTRACKS

Nothing ruins a mobile sports game faster than trash touch controls. Thankfully, the developers actually figured this out. You get a fully customizable on screen button layout. You can tweak everything, swap between left and right handed modes, or just ditch the touchscreen entirely and hook up a wireless game controller for absolute precision.

You’re going to need those sharp controls because there are over 50 unique tricks to master. The tutorial gets you on your feet, but figuring out the hundreds of possible grab and spin combinations is entirely up to you. Throw in a heavy punk rock soundtrack featuring bands like Templeton Pek and Voice of Addiction or just import your own custom playlist and you’ve got the perfect vibe for a serious grind session.
