Sometimes you don’t want to save the world, rescue the princess, or grind for endless XP. Sometimes you just want to throw a black hole at Jupiter and see what happens. If you’ve ever had the urge to play cosmic supervillain, Solar Smash is going to ruin your productivity. This isn’t your standard sandbox game. It’s a massive, physics-driven universe simulator that gives you the keys to the cosmos and basically says, “Go break stuff.”

WEAPONS OF MASS PLANETARY DESTRUCTION

If you just want to watch the world burn literally Planet Smash mode is your new best friend. The developers armed you with over 50 completely unhinged weapons to hurl at unsuspecting planets. We aren’t just talking about your standard meteors and nukes here. You can unleash orbital ion cannons, antimatter missiles, massive cosmic monsters, and yes, even giant space Shiba Inus. You can tear apart our own familiar solar system, or go hunt down weird, exotic setups like artificial ring worlds protected by heavy planetary force fields. The sheer scale of the chaos you can cause is hilarious.

PLAYING GOD WITH GRAVITY

Now, if you want to get a little more strategic before you obliterate everything, Solar System Smash mode lets you actually flex some creative muscle. It leans hard into the physics simulation side. You can mess around with three pre-made star systems or build entirely custom ones from absolute scratch. Drop planets into perfectly balanced orbits. Set up a beautiful, thriving solar system. Then? Drop a massive black hole right in the middle just to see how the gravitational pull rips those orbits to shreds. Setting up slow-motion planetary collisions is weirdly addictive.

WEIRDLY BEAUTIFUL CHAOS

The absolute wildest part about all this destruction is how incredibly good it looks. The gravity and celestial mechanics are actually grounded in real science, which is pretty funny for a game that lets you slice Earth in half with a laser sword. When you slam two celestial bodies into each other, the resulting shockwaves, supernovas, and crumbling planetary crusts look breathtaking. Just a quick heads-up for my friends with photosensitivity: when things go supernova, the flashing lights get extremely intense, so play it safe.

STUPIDLY SIMPLE CONTROLS

You’d think mapping out orbital mechanics and destroying galaxies would require a degree in astrophysics, but the controls are entirely idiot-proof. You just swipe, tap, and watch billions of years of virtual cosmic evolution go up in smoke. It’s the ultimate stress reliever for a long day. Build a universe, set it on fire, and enjoy the show.
