It perfectly scratches that itch of starting out incredibly weak and slowly turning into an unstoppable, screen clearing powerhouse.

The core gameplay is beautifully simple but highly chaotic. You start off with a classic hero wielding a basic crossbow. You don’t even have to stress about mashing buttons or aiming.

Blue skills, on the other hand, are your underlying passives. They quietly boost your baseline stats, speed up your character development, and make your red attacks hit way harder. If you manage to survive long enough to max out a specific skill’s star rating, it triggers an unexpected evolution into its final, ultimate form. Watching a fully evolved skill completely vaporize a wave of enemies in two seconds flat never gets old.

It is the absolute perfect length for killing time while you are waiting in line for your morning coffee or commuting on the train. But do not get too comfortable. A progress bar constantly warns you when a massive, heavily armored boss is about to drop into the arena. These brutes hit like a truck and deal massive critical damage, but if you actually managed to evolve your skills properly, you can absolutely melt them into dust before they even get close.
