You step into the shoes of the Past King of this ruined realm, and the mess is entirely yours to clean up. You have to rally the terrified survivors, aggressively build up your fighting power, and systematically take back your home from these magical parasites.

TAP THOSE MINES AND HOARD GEMS

You absolutely cannot fund a massive rebellion on empty pockets. The core economy here is all about perfectly managing your gem mines.

You start out frantically tapping on the dirt to squeeze out gems, but you want to upgrade those mines as fast as humanly possible to generate massive passive income. Want to completely supercharge your dwarf workers? Just rebuild the Mine Relic Ruin 1. You connect it to a specific mine and boom you instantly trigger a 50% income boost. You can keep upgrading these ancient relics to push their magical power and active duration through the roof. You are going to need literally billions of gems to save the forest, so maximizing your economy early on is absolutely crucial to winning.

TRAIN YOUR SWARM AND SMASH THE MINIONS

Once you finally have the cash flowing, it is time to go on the offensive. You have to rebuild the shattered Witch circles to set up proper training centers, which gives your returning Swarm members enough hope to actually risk their lives in battle.

The combat loop is incredibly satisfying. You click on a ruined structure to scope out the details, look at the root colors to figure out exactly which enemy Minion is holding it hostage, and launch a targeted attack. Once that Minion is dead, its roots completely vanish, allowing you to spend your hoarded gems to rebuild the ruin. Your witches are your absolute heavy hitters in these fights. Restoring Witch Ruin 1 unleashes massive critical damage on the enemies, while Witch Ruin 2 acts as a giant support hub to heal up every surviving witch on the battlefield. It is a wildly addictive cycle of printing gems, reviving ruins, and crushing evil creatures.
