Most mobile war games are basically just glorified spreadsheet simulators that bore you to tears. But if you have been following the strategy scene for a while, you already know EasyTech absolutely refuses to drop a bad title. Their latest release is here, and it is a ridiculously deep, modern military sandbox that will completely eat up your free time. Whether you are strategizing on a train commute in London, killing a few hours on a flight to Toronto, or relaxing on a Sunday in Sydney, this is exactly the tactical grind your brain has been craving.
You aren’t just spamming basic infantry units and hoping for the best.
The game hands you the absolute keys to over 70 highly advanced army, navy, and airforce units. Every single piece of armor and aircraft has a highly specific role on the map. You get to actively reform and upgrade your troops using custom components, turning a standard, boring squad into an absolute ace unit. Throw in a massive roster of generals with unique, game changing skills and a deck of tactical cards, and you have endless ways to completely break the enemy lines.
But you have to pay attention to your environment. The terrain actually matters here. If you try to push heavy tanks through a dense mountain pass, you are going to get completely slaughtered. You have to play smart, adapt to the map, and aggressively capture enemy strongholds to secure a win.
The sheer scale of the single player mode is honestly insane.
You are fighting a brutal, alternate history war stretching from 1975 all the way to the futuristic tech of 2032. The main campaign drags you across nine massive war zones. One minute you are defending European borders or pushing through North America, and the next you are surviving the brutal deserts of the Middle East, fighting in Antarctica, or commanding troops in bizarre, highly classified sectors like ALPHA 5 and EPSILON 11. With 87 distinct military missions, the campaign alone is completely worth the download.
Once you finally beat the main story, the game completely takes off the training wheels.
If you want to genuinely test your tactical IQ, you have to jump into the five specialized Challenge modes: Rescue, Hold, Breakout, Strike, and Supply. They will push your commanding skills to the absolute breaking point. Need to grind for better gear? Deploy your units across 25 different expeditionary campaigns in Quest Mode.
But things get incredibly sweaty when you decide to take your custom army online. The PvP mode features six different arenas carefully tiered by player level. You can actively challenge other commanders, completely ruin their strategies, and walk away with massive extra rewards.
We all know the absolute nightmare of upgrading your phone and losing hundreds of hours of carefully crafted game progress.
Thankfully, the developers actually baked in full cloud server support. You just hit a button to upload your battle data, switch your devices, and instantly pick up the war right where you left off.
Stop wasting your battery on mindless tapping games. Draft your generals, upgrade your armor, and actually go win a war.
You are now ready to download Glory of Generals2: ACE for free. Here are some notes:
