You are essentially thrown right into a meat grinder against a completely wild mix of alien invaders, rogue cyborgs, and classic zombies. The gunplay here is incredibly satisfying. They clearly skipped the expensive licensing fees, so while the weapon names are entirely made up, you will instantly recognize the real world assault rifles, heavy pistols, and SMGs in your hands. Mowing down massive waves of the undead feels crunchy, heavy, and undeniably fun. Taking down the giant robot boss is an absolute blast, though I have to be completely honest the boss fight featuring a swarm of laser spamming drones is incredibly unbalanced and honestly kind of meh.

You do not always need a flawless internet connection to get your daily shooter fix. If you are stuck off the grid or just want to practice, you can run the entire campaign totally offline with AI bots. They handle themselves surprisingly well during training missions and standard single player runs. But the real chaos kicks off when you finally jump online. Joining a lobby with your friends completely changes the dynamic. Coordinating wild tactics in the brutal PvE modes or going head to head in competitive PvP matches gives the game massive replay value.

CRAFTING THE PERFECT TACTICAL LOADOUT
