As you grind through the ruins, you constantly rake in coins that you can drop at the in game store for totally unique robes and combat outfits. Once you collect enough of them, your witch suddenly transitions from tossing weak little sparks to dropping massive magical explosives across the battlefield. Upgrading your raw power is the only way you will survive the late game encounters.

PLANT MAGICAL TREES AND PLAY ANYWHERE

The ultimate goal here is to rescue trapped souls before the roaming monsters completely devour them. You pull this off by literally planting massive magical trees to establish a safe haven, essentially building a heavily fortified ecosystem that naturally keeps the darkness out.

The absolute best part about this whole experience? The developers made the entire game fully playable offline. You can grind out levels on a long flight or a dead zone commute without ever panicking about dropping your connection. Just a quick heads up, though: your progress isn’t automatically saved to a cloud server. You definitely need to manually back up your device data so you don’t accidentally lose all those heavy upgrades you just spent hours grinding for.
