The difficulty definitely ramps up the further you push. It gets brutal. Thankfully, you aren’t doing it empty handed. Every successful raid showers you in epic loot. You are constantly unlocking ridiculously oversized weapons, forging thicker armor, and upgrading your gear to keep up with the carnage. You even get to collect awesome little combat pets that fight right by your side to help tip the scales.
